Quality and verification
A matrimonial database is only worth what its worst profile is worth. Here is what we do about that.
Email confirmed
Every member confirms their email address through a link before their profile appears anywhere. It is the only check we perform, and we would rather say so than imply more.
Real photographs only
Uploads are checked automatically for a human face. Scenery, logos, cars and screenshots are refused. Photographs are optional, and stay locked until the member accepts a request.
Reported, then reviewed
Any member can report a profile. A person reviews every report, usually within 24 hours, and fake or abusive profiles are removed.
What we do not check
Identity documents, employment, income, property, marital status, health, criminal history. None of it. Please do those checks yourself, and our guides show you how.
What gets a profile removed
Profiles are removed without refund where we find any of the following. Most come to us through member reports, which is why reporting matters.
- A false identity, or photographs that are not of the member.
- An existing marriage not disclosed on the profile.
- Misrepresented immigration status — claiming citizenship or permanent residency that does not exist.
- Requests for money, investment, visa sponsorship fees or gifts from other members.
- Sharing another member's photographs or contact details onward.
- Abusive, sexual or harassing conduct in any form.
- Using the platform to advertise a business or another service.
- Anyone under 18, or anyone not legally free to marry.
On sample profiles
We do not inflate our numbers. You will not find a member count on this site that we cannot evidence, and we do not create listings to make the database look busier than it is. A rishta service that lies about its size will lie about other things too.
They are not real people, and we will not pretend otherwise to look larger than we are. As real members join, the samples come down. If you ever see a profile without that badge, it belongs to a real registered member.
How we handle reports
A person reads every report, usually within 24 hours. We look at the profile, the request history and any evidence you send. Outcomes are a warning, a temporary suspension or permanent removal. We will tell you that action was taken, though not the details, because that would breach the other member's privacy.

Free to publish a profile during launch. Photographs and contact numbers stay yours until you decide otherwise.
